Well after arriving and deciding on a set up i went with a waggler float shotted around the float
with a size 20 hook. after the first 10 minuits i started to see my fload bobbing in the water, no bites as yet. i was fishing
on white maggot.
about half an hour in a got my first bite, but didnt land it, wasnt sure what it was but i do know
it was a big fish, maybee i was using to smaller hook, i wasnt planning for nothing extreme.
after only really an hour n half of fishing i caught 2 small roach. i decided i wanted to go home.
Tuesday 27th MAY 2008
Farrington Lodge Fishery
After arriving shortly after one and getting my rod set up i cast out using a mixxed colouring of
maggots. withing the first say half an hour of being there i knew it was going to be a bad day and it was. it was like the
fish had gone to sleep.
2 hours in and still nothing by this time there was 3 of us around the lake, me and a father and
son fishing. by 2.5 hours i still hadnt had a single bite and niether did the other people fishing along side me.
i tried many different float set ups aswell as an hour or so ledgering but still i had nothing it
was probably the worst fishing day iv had in years as i did pretty well last season. i think the highlight of the day was
a little robin landing on my rod, i tried to get a picture but it soon flew off, seemed it was trying to get my maggots.
i have no plans for where im going next. but i will be posting my secess.
but i hope my luck changes very soon.
